users seeing the whole set of photos in slideshow then ok

I have had 2 clients phone me about the slideshow on the home page of a website using powergallery 2

I set it up as a slideshow and it works ok on my system, but 2 people with different configurations have phoned to say in the first instance all the photos from the slideshow appear on the screen instead of a single image blinding to the next. They refresh the page and its ok. (they have good machines with good broadband)

any ideas? I can't recreate it ,m but since I release the website yesterday 2 people has phoned..

i dont see an issue when i browse to your gallery either.

what browser are the people reporting the issue using?

I know - I can't see it either - one has an oldish PC, vista and the other has a brand new windows 7.
both notified me the home page showed the complete set of images instead of the slideshow.
the galleries on the gallery and commission pages work ok.

could it be a slow DB access or failed css download? or old javascript?
I've reduced the number of images in the slide show.

any thoughts would help

ok only in the slideshow does this happen (I am using power gallery on 3 pages - home, gallery and commissions.
on the home page I'm using is as a slideshow and the other pages as a full grid.
when the home page loads it briefly displays all the images in the slideshow as a grid and then flashes back into a slideshow. I@ve reduced the number of images and its quicker to disappear, but still visiable.

in ie9 and hitting refresh. one sees the entire set of images and then it runs.
I've caught it on a screengrab. first one is the page loading the second one is 1 second later
