Data loss problem with PowerCMS

Data loss problem with PowerCMS

I have a serious problem with one of my installations of PowerCMS. I suspect that the installation is bumping up against some size limit or other, causing data to be lost when attempting to modify editable regions.

Here is how it manifests itself:

One of the pages has three editable regions, called Contact, Content, and Name.

Power CMS says "M - Kali Hewitt Blackie (3 editable regions)" next to the "Add Content" button.

However, only two regions show below, Contact and Content. When I attempt to add Name, the missing region, I get a message that says that region has already been defined.

When the page is rendered by a browser the Name and Content areas show up, but the Contact region is missing.

This installation is reasonably large:

There are 105 pages that include 241 editable regions.

I think this is CMS version 1, but honestly I'm not sure and don't know offhand how to check.

Does someone have an idea what's going on here, and how to solve it?

Thanks....Duane
