Steve

Weird upload path issue..

I'm designing a Facebook App where I use an upload/mod page to set an image based on a Facebook PageID (numeric variable).

I can't get the images to upload to a directory location that is a variable but yet the value exists as it successfully echos

php:
<?php

// WA_UploadResult1 Params Start
$WA_UploadResult1_Params = array();
// WA_UploadResult1_1 Start
$WA_UploadResult1_Params["WA_UploadResult1_1"] = array(

'UploadFolder' => "../LikeMeReward/".$row_rsDetails['fb_pageId']."/",

'FileName' => "[FileName]",

'DefaultFileName' => "".$row_rsDetails['fb_image']  ."",

'ResizeType' => "2",

'ResizeWidth' => "520",

'ResizeHeight' => "120",

'ResizeFillColor' => "#FFFFFF" );
// WA_UploadResult1_1 End
// WA_UploadResult1 Params End
?>
<?php
WA_DFP_SetupUploadStatusStruct
("WA_UploadResult1");
if(
$_SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] == "POST"){

WA_DFP_UploadFiles("WA_UploadResult1""fileFld""2""[NewFileName]_[Increment]""true"$WA_UploadResult1_Params);
}
?>

Then this echo shows that the code knows where to put the file:

php:
<?php echo $WA_UploadResult1_Params["WA_UploadResult1_1"]['UploadFolder'];

?>

Result: ../LikeMeReward/267878713237529 /

But yet no uploads will go to a variable based upload path. It WILL go to location on the path up until the variable.

This makes me think that the helperphp.php page may be restructuring or restricting the path?

Look on the server to see if the folder is being created or not.

If the folder is being created, double check it's permissions

also, double check the permissions for the LikeMeReward/ folder

it sounds like the permissions for the LikeMeReward/ folder may not allow for a new folder to be created inside it. It may need to be set to 777 to allow writing for everyone.

Permissions are fine.

I've isolated it to being from the recordset...

php:
<?php

$target
"LikeMeReward";
$target2 "267878713237529";
$target3 $row_rsDetails['fb_pageId'];

// WA_UploadResult1 Params Start
$WA_UploadResult1_Params = array();
// WA_UploadResult1_1 Start
$WA_UploadResult1_Params["WA_UploadResult1_1"] = array(

'UploadFolder' => "../".$target."/".$target3."/",

'FileName' => "[FileName]",

'DefaultFileName' => "".$row_rsDetails['fb_image']  ."",

'ResizeType' => "2",

'ResizeWidth' => "520",

'ResizeHeight' => "120",

'ResizeFillColor' => "#FFFFFF" );
// WA_UploadResult1_1 End
// WA_UploadResult1 Params End
?>

When using the $target2 value it works fine. When using the $target3 it fails and drops the image only in the $target path.

$target3 IS present and echos just fine. But when used as a recordset variable it is ignored.

I even tried pushing it into a new variable then into $target3 but this fails:

php:
<?php

$target
"LikeMeReward";
$target2 '267878713237529';
$target3 $holder $row_rsDetails['fb_pageId'];
echo
'here is t3 :' .$target3;

// WA_UploadResult1 Params Start
$WA_UploadResult1_Params = array();
// WA_UploadResult1_1 Start
$WA_UploadResult1_Params["WA_UploadResult1_1"] = array(

'UploadFolder' => "../".$target."/".$target3."/",

'FileName' => "[FileName]",

'DefaultFileName' => "".$row_rsDetails['fb_image']  ."",

'ResizeType' => "2",

'ResizeWidth' => "520",

'ResizeHeight' => "120",

'ResizeFillColor' => "#FFFFFF" );
// WA_UploadResult1_1 End
// WA_UploadResult1 Params End
?>

and still the echo shows as:
here is t3 :267878713237529
