Can't Connect to MySQL Database

I can connect to the database through Dreamweaver.

When I try to set up a CMS area, I get a series of errors. See attached.

the error is telling you that the connection information that was entered is not correct. The MySQL server Is not allowing access because either the Server Name, Username or password used in the connection are incorrect.

If you are 100% Sure the information is correct, it may be that the MySQL Server does not allow connections from an outside source like your client computer.

Contact your host to find out if the MySQL has any connection limitations, or for help determining the correct Server Address, username and password to use for createing the database connection.

Their support is horrible.

Can I copy the PowerCMS files to the server an try an install that way? The only problem is that it asks me for a serial number. I bought the unlimited licenses. What do I enter here?

Rob...
I just went through something similar.

To activate the CMS on the server, make sure you use the passcode given to activate your PowerCMS extension.

You may also want to check that you have the SQL database access to external read/write.

Also, check your servers...I switched my GoDaddy Acct to be both, my upload and remote server, which solved similar issues with the errors and allowed the program to upload with no problems.

Here's the caveat...I'm a novice. So, take my post with a grain of salt. Support took too long to get back to me.

That's exactly what I tried and I got it to work.

Thanks for your response.
