Update KFM File Manager?

Is there an easy way to update the KFM File Manager just as we're able to update the CKEditor? KFM is up to version 1.4.7 according to its site. I tried swapping files, but ran into some issues so I reverted back to the original. I'm fine with the version that ships with HTML Editor 3.0.2, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks.

No, there is custom code added in a number of the KFM files, It's not quite as simple as copying the files over, I cant really even say to back up the custom files, because there may be updates that KFM made to those files that wouldn't be in the backups.
