Universal EMail JavaScript error

Windows 7
DW CS5.5
CSS form builder - Build 027

Used universal e-mail from CSS form builder installation. Not sending mail. On the server behaviour panel I clicked on "Universal E-Mail 1 (mail) to launch create e-mail message dialogue box when I get a JavaScript error:

While executing time in WAUE_Main.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
At line 351 of file
"C\Users\Frank\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\Shared\WebAssist\DocumentEncoding.js": the ServerLanguage is not defined

I have deleted WinFileCache-xxxxx.dat file. Restarted Dreamweaver.

Still experiencing same problem.

Any suggestions and advice

in the Configuration\Shared\WebAssist\Documen tEncoding.js file, change line 351:

if (theServerLanguage == "vbscript")  {

to:

var theServerLanguage = "PHP";
if (theServerLanguage == "vbscript") {

Getting same errors.

Did you come up with a solution? Tried the first fix and now receiving second error except mine is listed on line 392.

No support ticket.

I went to my support history and my only option is to created a new one. I thought you created one or do I need to?

I have created another one, make sure you are going to the support history page and not the support landing page.

Okay, we’re using CS3 (DW9), and we get “While executing timer in WAUE_Main.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.” No other text in the alert box (other than the title, which is simply the name of the application itself). No indication of which file nor what line generated the actual error.

Once dismissed, this alert often pops up a second time, then, when it’s dismissed that second time (or sometimes the first time), the user interface box appears but as nothing but a totally gray empty UI window! Not a single UI widget of any kind in it, not even an [Ok] nor [Cancel] button! There is the standard Windows close icon in the upper right corner, which fortunately does dismiss the dialog, otherwise we’d have to force-quit DW itself every time this happened.

Similar errors happen with many of the WebAssist extensions we purchased as the Super Suite (latest version). It's pretty much unusable.

I deleted the winfilecache.dat file and made the change you gave in Post #2 in this thread.
