Menu Problem

Menu Problem

I'm filling out my search menus manually within dreamweaver using the static option. I'm having problems getting the initial unselected value to remain the option I'd like it to be. For instance I create the first option with a blank value and a label of "Select...." But when I keep adding options eventually the newer options will replace the default value. The box to select the initial value in DW is greyed out, so I'm unable to choose that. Any ideas why they aren't sticking?

I'd have to look at the code... It shouldn't be greyed out in the first place if you are populating your list with only static values... probaby because you have set the dynamic selection attributes. I'd have to look at the code to understand everything involved to give an accurate answer.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

I figured it out. I was using the dynamic section to apply my static values, and that was not letting me choose a default option. I used the list value instead and I had no problem!
