Forgot Password page missing argument 6 error

Forgot Password page missing argument 6 error

I used Create Security Pages to create a forgot password page. When I run it in test with a non-existent email it quickly comes back to say the email can not be found. When I run it with a valid email it processes for a long time then comes back with the following error:

Warning: Missing argument 6 for WA_SecurityAssist_Definition(), called in C:\server\www\myserver.dev\public_html\ajfs\forgotpassword.php on line 142 and defined in C:\server\www\myserver.dev\public_html\ajfs\webassist\security_assist\mail_php.php on line 34

How do I get the page to work?

I have already deleted the Dreamweaver CS5 Configuration folder and re-installed the Data Assist 2.08, CSS Form Builder 2.0.0 and Security Assist 2.03 extensions in that order.

Thanks,

David

you need to edit the Forgot Password Server behavior and set the SMTP Server Address and Port, if you are not sure what server to use for sending the email, you should contact your host

Okay, I got around the argument 6 error but now I am getting "Your email address could not be found in our records. Please try again." when I enter a valid address that lets me login.

Missing argument 6 for WA_SecurityAssist_Definition

SecurityAssist 2.0.5

When I try to insert a email password trigger, the page throws the error:

Missing argument 6 for WA_SecurityAssist_Definition(),...

I have tried to deduce this argument as the Character Set variable. Changing or deleting the argument variable makes no difference. I'm stuck on this one.

I was able to successfully create a Forget Password page using WebAssist/SecurityAssist/Create Security Pages.

on the server behaviors panel, double click the Security Assist Email Password server behavior to edit it. On the Mail Server Tab, set the character set to UTF-8

if you continue to have a problem, send a copy of the page, and i can show you how to add the character set manually to the code.

Changing the character set to UTF-8 did not fix this issue.

I did notice that mail_php.php line 34 references "$charSet" while line 46 references " var $CharSet;" with a capital C.

PHP page and error message(RTF) attached.
