SEO improvement for database driven eCart website

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but i use eCart4 to build my website. I display the products page populated from mysql database. My question is what are guidlines to follow to have the products found by search engines?

here is a products page; not all products have been added to database yet.

thanks for your help,

in your products table, add a productTitle, productKeywords and productDescription column

make sure that the products recordset returns these columns, and use them as the value for the pages title, meta keywords and meta description tags.

thanks, Jason

question-if i am showing a total products page, would i use the title, keywords, description from the recordset on that page as it would have all records in the title, keywords, and description.
or should i only use that only on a detail page which would show 1 product only?

only on the detail page.

you would need to use a static title keyword and description on the page that lists multiple products, use the dynamic data on the product details page.
