template not allowing add to cart to work

template not allowing add to cart to work

I have 2 different kinds of item pages - different layouts for different kinds of products. On one, I have no template applied to the page and it works great. On the other, I have some pretty basic HTML code added for the layout, and it won't add the item to the cart. I've tried removing chunks of the code to try to isolate the problem, but with no luck - the only way to make the page work is to remove all template code entirely, leaving me with no layout.

I can't imagine what is happening here. The only thing different between my 2 pages is the code between the PHP at the top and the table with the add to cart button.

Can someone else take a look at this and see if I'm missing something?

itempage.php is the functioning page and altitempage.php is the dysfunctional one.

You'll have to login using test@test.com and password: password in order to set the session ID for the cart. Log in here: login.php

The URL is rings.php

The top set of rings link to the functioning item page. The bottom set do not.
