Preview pane in CSS sculptor

I'm a very new user.
I installed CSS sculptor clicked "yes to all" and after I open and try to use CSS sculptor upon defining site, servers and creating an empty saved page, I have no preview pane working.
Read the docs, uninstalled the extension, reinstalled, threw away cache file (Mac OSX Dreamweaver CS5). The problem persists, the preview pane does not display anything! Don't know what to do next?
If I click in the empty preview pane and have Firefox open at the same time, a new window opens in Firefox displaying the chosen design. Please help

What is your OS?

What version of Dreamweaver are you using?

Double check that preview has not been disabled. Go to Edit -> WebAssist Preferences, in the preview section, make sure the disable option is not selected.

Thank you for your quick reply Jason.
As per my first post, I'm using OS X Leopard (10.5.8) and Dreamweaver CS5.
I followed your instructions and made sure the "disable preview pane" is not checked under WA prefs. It is not checked. I toggled back and forth to see if anything changed in the preview. Nothing changed.

While waiting for your reply, I discovered that the same thing happens when using Menu Writer - no preview!
So, I even went as far as renaming my Applications Support Dreamweaver folder and the Preferences Dreamweaver folder to see if the problem would persist after Dreamweaver recreated those folders (I had to reactivate CSS Sculptor while using the newly created). The problem remained.

I'm bummed , because I just bought the whole Super Suite, so I would like to have it work after spending all that money. Any other suggestions?

Thank you Jason, my issue was resolved. I'm very surprised that this simple fix that you immediately recognized when accessing my computer is not included in the "Common installation issues" document!

Had I seen it there, I could have saved 10 days of agony and 10 days of installing 25+ extensions, uninstalling 25+ extensions, deleting. dat files, renaming Dreamweaver prefs folders, uninstalling other extensions, uninstalling Dreamweaver, searching all over internet for answers, reinstalling Dreamweaver, hassling you etc.

I have a feeling the fix is not as simple on a Windows machine and maybe that's why you don't want to include it in the "Common installation issues" document??

Same preview problem

None of my preview panes are working either. I am using Mac 10.7.2 and Dreamweaver 5.5. I checked the disabled previews button in preferences, previews are not disabled.

This is an issue in Mac OS X Lion. The engine that is used for the preview will not work in OS X Lion. instead, to view the preview, click the preview window to open the preview in a browser.
