weight shipping

i have set up shipping cost by weight method in PayPal for international shipping. but the problem is PayPal was unable to receive items weight. cause every time i try to calculate shipping cost on paypal site and shipping cost always show zero. i cant figure out what is going on. since in my shopping cart i do have weight info . but why?

please help me, thanks very much.

Are you using paypal standard? It may be that the shipping cost is being passed in by the form and overriding the shipping you have set up. You might be able to just delete the hidden form element that passes in the zero dollar shipping and then it should use the paypal shipping rules.

calculate shipping by weight

sorry i missed a ppoint.

since i have set up calculate by weight at Paypal. and there is no weight info at paypal checkout. paypal can not receive items weight that ecart pass over. that why it's not able to update shipping cost. why paypal can not receive items weight?
please help out. thanks
