Example of backend admin area

Hey there used to be an example of the user backend on the webassit site.

This offered me a great tool to demonstrate (since it is single license only I can not build one into my site) to clients how easy it was to add products and track sales.

Is that still around?

Thanks guys trying to sell one this week.

Ok I am going to put my client off for one more day before I tell them if I can offer a demo or not, then I will have to offer them a different option.
Let's make this sale by showing an online example...please.

The Power Store demo site has been removed.

Each poser store license allows for installation on 1 testing server, and 1 live server though.

installing a demo power store site does use up any of your licenses.

Thanks for the answer. :)

So I have sold a powerstore and set it up in the past, but the client bought it via your site
I just customized it and set it up.

So my question would be -
What does Webassist consider a testing server? Local only?
My current client is in New York and I am in Florida so a local testing server would not work.

Can I setup an example on my website - of coarse not using it as a real store but an example?

Final - they have an sql product and client database I suppose I can transfer that once they buy the PS.

Thanks

The demo store can be set up on a live server, just as long as it is not set to process transactions.

Looking to do the same thing

I am looking to do the same thing (set up a demo of PowerStore as a sub-domain on my site to show for perspective clients, since the live demo no longer exists). Is there anything special we have to do to set it up for no transactions that will allow it to work? I just want to make sure that if I buy a license for it, I will be able to use it for a client as well as the website demo...also, in the website demo, will I be able to demo the backend (make an account that they won't be able to change the password/etc. like was up before?).

Many thanks! I have one prospective client, but I was looking for the demo to show him, won't be able to get the license without his sale, so I am hoping what I told him will convince him to go ahead with it vs. going somewhere else.

when you set up the test store, turn test mode on in the admin panel so it will not process transactions.

also leave the gateway set to none.

this should be all that is needed.
