Product Option ID, not name showing up in cart

Product Option ID, not name showing up in cart

When I followed the tutorial for product options (product_options.php) it has me put the ProductOptionID in the value field and the OptionName in the label field on the dynamic drop down. This makes everything appear nice in the item page, but when it gets to the cart, I end up with numbers instead of option names. If I switch both fields to OptionName, then it doesn't add the PriceIncrement option (??).

What should I do?
