skype button not showing

when I installed the skype toolkit the button only shows a blank placeholder. this can be seen at www.alstest,info try skypeing me

looking at the source of your page, it looks like the skype ID was not entered correctly:

<a href="skype:allen?call"><img src="http://mystatus.skype.com/bigclassic/allen d.. macfalda" style="border: none;" width="182" height="44" alt="My status" /></a>

I cannot find a skype name "allen d.. macfalda" but i can find "allen.d..macfalda" through a skype search

I copied and pasted the suggested code to no avail. the skype button still does not show. It functions ok once you click on it but it just does not show in ie9

there was no code suggested to copy and paste.

I was only showing you the code that I see inn your browser.

The problem is that you are entering a bad skype ID:
allen d.., macfalda

double check that the skype id you are entering is a valid skype ID.
