Install Sequence for all WA Extensions

Install Sequence for all WA Extensions

I've just switched to a new computer and need to re-install all of my WA extensions and I have almost all of them.

Is there a suggested sequence for installing them? Are there any that need to be installed first, before some other one?

Thanks,
David

for the most part, there is not a specific order to follow with the exception of install the following 4 Last in this order:

Form Toolkit
CSS Form Builder 2.0.1 Support release 2
HTML Editor 3
Security Assist 2

So install any other extensions before these 4 and then install these 4 in that order?

Thanks Jason, really appreciate your help!

Being that this is in wishlist…I will venture an idea for an app or extension that can do this on the fly :)

Nice idea. I just didn't know where else to ask. And, hopefully, I won't have to do this too often.

I take it back.

I take it back. This does need to be fixed. It's really pretty bad.

1. Windows notices about older or new file versions in various extensions. It's **** near impossible to answer those individually on one extension, much less every one.

2. So, made a not of Jason's list to do last. Started install with current eCart followed by Universal email only to then read that if you are using Form builder, it replaces Universal eMail, Validation tool kit, and Digital File Pro. It's only by chance I even looked at this before installing Validation toolkit and Digital File Pro. But I still have to go back and uninstall Universal eMail.

Exactly the wasted time I was hoping to avoid.

1) you can answer yes to all when that alert comes up. The files that are referenced in that error are supporting files like the images used in the GUI for various product wizards.

2) We are currently working on integrating our products to make them easier to install. this will mean that newer products like CSS Form Builder will replace other older products.
