Not showing on web page and previews five server error in admin

Not showing on web page and previews five server error in admin

I have done a fresh install of Power Gallery 2.

It's installed and the admin section (mostly, see below) works okay.

I have uploaded images to subfolder, this appears as a gallery and the images appear when I go to Manage Images.

I can embed the code but here's where the problem starts. See gallery-evelyn-201107.php

When I click on the preview link provided I get a 500 error. index.php?gallery=2&theme=light

The galleries and images folder have been set to 755
I have also changed the values in the settings file from 666 to 755

When I try to edit the gallery properties the top menu (for font, colours etc) shows up but where I presume a preview should there is a 500 internal server error.

Any assistance available?

Same Problem

I'm having the same exact problem. I've changed the permissions on the Images folder & my gallery folder to 777. Can see the images on the manage images page and the page with the embedded code shows thumbnails but no large image.

change the permissions for the gallery folder and all folders and files under it to 755.

then in the admin_gallery/common/properties.php file, edit the following lines:

php:
$GLOBALS['permissions'] = array(

    'dir' => 0777,
    'file' => 0666
);

to:

php:
$GLOBALS['permissions'] = array(

    'dir' => 0755,
    'file' => 0755
);

Photo gallery problem

I'm having the same problem. I can view the gallery when it is embedded on the page but get an internal server error when I use the link. The permissions are correct and the permission in the properties.php file as instructed above but no luck. Any updates on how to fix this?
