Paul

$WA_fieldValuesStr = ;

This is my first shot at MySQL databases...using myPHPAdmin. Normally I have been doing Access asp pages.

When I go into the admin section and click on the results page, the data shows up...but when I try to either view it, or update it, I get this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /home/moret608/public_html/admin/AboutUs_Update.php on line 56

Here are lines 55, 56 and 57:
$WA_fieldNamesStr = "";
$WA_fieldValuesStr = ;
$WA_columnTypesStr = "";

Any thoughts?

One issue I fixed was because my column header had a space in the name, but also on most of my pages the content gets truncated. In Access databases I use to make the Description column a MEMO field...how do I set that in myPHPAdmin?

Thanks

in MySQL the "text" data type is equivalent to an Access memo field.

Thanks, Jason...

Since this is my first time using MySQL, and the database is simply text content, no calculations or lookups...what should I have for the following fields?

Default: None, null, as defined
Collation: utf8_general_ci
Attributes: empty?
Null: checked or unchecked?

The reason I ask is that some of my pages are still not showing the full content in the database. It gets truncated almost.

I also remade the admin pages because of my fixing the mysql database. I am still getting the errors that I first mentioned in this post.
Any thoughts on that?

Thanks,
Paul
