authenticate user server behavior

in my admin section, i want 2 levels of admin, normal admin and super admin.

on my admin login page, i have added a security assist server behavior which compares username , password and userlevel.

the generated code works fine for a single admin level, but how do i use an OR ?

at present, the authentication checks for userlevel 99, whereas i want to check for level 99 OR 100

<?php
if($_SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] == "POST"){
$WA_Auth_Parameter = array(
"connection" => $connection,
"database" => $database_connection,
"tableName" => "tablename",
"columns" => explode($WA_Auth_Separator,"EmailAddress".$WA_Auth_Separator."AccountPassword".$WA_Auth_Separator."UserLevel"),
"columnValues" => explode($WA_Auth_Separator,"".((isset($_POST["username"]))?$_POST["username"]:"") ."".$WA_Auth_Separator."".((isset($_POST["userpassword"]))?$_POST["userpassword"]:"") ."".$WA_Auth_Separator."99 "),
"columnTypes" => explode($WA_Auth_Separator,"text".$WA_Auth_Separator."text".$WA_Auth_Separator."int"),
"sessionColumns" => explode($WA_Auth_Separator,"AccountID".$WA_Auth_Separator."UserLevel"),
"sessionNames" => explode($WA_Auth_Separator,"AccountID".$WA_Auth_Separator."UserLevel"),
"successRedirect" => "home.php",
"failRedirect" => "",
"gotoPreviousURL" => TRUE,
"keepQueryString" => TRUE
);

WA_AuthenticateUser($WA_Auth_Parameter);
}
?>

You do this in your rule:

Allow if Session UserLevel = 99
Allow if Session UserLevel = 100

That is the purpose of the "allow if" and "restrict if" settings to allow you to effectively get AND and OR comparisons. The rule will do as it reads and move on to the next line if it doesn't match.

sorry Ray, must be missing something,

when i open my authenticate user server behavior, i don't get 'allow if' or 'restrict if' options

This is in the Rules, not the authenticate. The authenticate just lets you decide what session variables to store. Then you create rules based on those session variables.

The allow if and restrict if rule types are part of the rule definition. Then you use the rule to restrict access to a page.

I get it.

My authenticate user behavior was being too restrictive.

I simply authenticate the user with the user name and password.

I am already storing the accountid and userlevel as session variables and using the userlevel session variable in the access rules.

perfect.
