Images in News section?

Images in News section?

I have added an image to an article that is being shown in the news pod. I can see the code for the image in that article's content in the database. But the image does not appear in the news pod, nor does the image code. Is it being stripped out?

the news pod on the index page will only display the first 190 characters.

You need to click the read more link to view the entire article, including pictures.

So images are filtered out? That's unfortunate. I have a thumbnail that I would like to place in that news blurb. Any way to override it?

The news pod does not filter images, it just shows only the first 190 characters of the news article due to space constraints on the index page.

But the image tag is completely missing and it falls at the beginning of the paragraph of content. It's been stripped out. Oh, well - that's too bad.
