Removing the Add Gallery button

I would like to hide the Add Gallery button from the admin section and have tried editing the CSS - unsuccessfully. Would you please tell me what code I need to change?

Thank you

in the admin_gallery/choosegallery.php file

change:

php:
<a href="#" id="addgallery">Add Gallery</a>

to:

php:
<!--<a href="#" id="addgallery">Add Gallery</a>-->

This solution does not work :o(

I tried commenting it out previously but the "Add Gallery" button seems to be connected to other code on the page. When you delete or comment out the code you can no longer select any galleries: the "Edit this Gallery" buttons are no longer click-able (but they light up on mouse-overs). Any other suggestions?

Thanks

ok, instead of commenting the link, either remove the add gallery text:

<a href="#" id="addgallery"></a>

or set an inline style to set the visibility to hidden:
<a href="#" id="addgallery" style="visibility:hidden;">Add Gallery</a>
