Payment Gateway Solution Advice

Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up a new website using eCart to develop the web shop and I was wondering if anyone can offer any advice on the best payment gateway to use as I have no experience of trading online.

The site will only be trading in the UK and I want to accept credit/debit payments as well as payment through PayPal. Is it best to use PayPal Website Payment Standard or am I best setting up a seperate Internet Merchant Account? If so can anyone give any advice on the best one to use; and the easiest to set up using eCart?

Any advice based on your experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Laura

In my opinion (which is fairly limited in ecommerce) Paypal Pro would be better and more professional especially if your completing lots of transactions, otherwise Paypal Standard would be fine

I'd suggest Paypal as well.

Payment Gateway

Hi,

Thanks for your quick responses. Sounds like PayPal then in this instance. Is it straightforward to integrate with eCart?

Thanks,

Laura
