PowerGallery 2 - Build 003

Beta testers will be receiving an email today containing a new PHP Solution, Power Gallery Build 003. As always, this is a closed beta, so please only report issues and feedback in this forum.

Serial number: G9GN2-0Hwdn-0yIFN-GOUFC can be used to activate this beta build. Activations are limited, so please keep activations limited to 2 systems. This serial number will no longer be valid after the release date.

What are you going to do with all of those images!?!?!? Put them in a gallery, obviously.

Power Gallery V2 highlights:

*New gallery design added: Flow
*Gallery colors, fonts, and image widths can be altered via the Design Editor.
*MUCH faster processing of images within Admin when uploading and altering images.
*Upload of images and gallery creation no longer has to be done through Admin. Simply copy/upload a folder containing images in the /images/ folder on your server and access Choose Gallery in Admin. A gallery containing the images will automatically be created.

Let us know what you like and what you don't, and as always...
Thank you for your participation.

suggested new features

so far it seems like an easy to use product except for a couple of strategic items... at 115 temp outside and our air conditioner quit so i will be out of it for a few days....

1 - need to be able to move images up the priority placement easier... I added a new image that we wanted to be first and it took several moves to move it up to the top of the list... had to move it up a screen at a time as it was not easy to move in a single move... maybe it should have a quick tree mode like I have in other software packages like the one at familyvista.com in the admin section....

2 - you really need to add a sub category tree ... i.e. under Dameon gallery, it would be great to be able to add several sub categories under each main category like, birth, 1st year, 2nd year etc (Dameon is my first born great grandson) more like a tree to add more categories and sub categories and even sub categories under it...

I really see this as a great product for web techs to setup for families to have complete online family photo album websites and ...

3 - have multiple logins for different people to be able to add and edit and delete photos for their family album without having access to everybody’s login...

4 - make access for visitors to the site to be able to have to become members first and to be approved first before they are allowed access...

I am going to use the registration solution pack myself but it should be included as an option....

oh and the registration solution pack need to be an automated setup like the other solution packs...

1. Are you adding the encoded entity © or just @ ?
2. How is not viewing correctly? I'm not seeing any issues in OSX/Safari 5.1.
3. Fixed!
