Dynamic Web Charts on CS5.5?

Dynamic Web Charts on CS5.5?

Hello,

I upgraded to CS5.5 without realizing that WebAssist's extensions were not yet compatible with this release. I planned on using Dynamic Web Charts to create dynamic graphics on elements of my website, but any attempt to run the extension crashes Dreamweaver. As I thought it was a configuration problem, I have tried the usual solutions of clearing cache, deleting the config file, and reinstalling the plugin. Then I re-checked the WA site and realized the plugin isn't explicitly compatible with CS5.5.

Does anyone have suggestions on how I might get this extension to work without downgrading my suite version? I'm open to a little creativity here...

Thanks!

I had a similar problem when I recently purchased this extension, and I am using CS5.5.

I resolved it by manually uploading the DynamicWebCharts folder to the remote server.

double check your Dreamweaver site settings and make sure you have a testing server configured, if you only use a remote server, set the remote server to be both remote and the testing server.

I cannot get it to work either... I am curious if it is a combination of CS5.5 and OSX Lion. Not sure, but it constantly crashes Dreamweaver.

Best regards,

Brian
