Hard-coded URL variables

I have DA up and running well, but I'm a little confused on where to go when I want a preset query (such as one you'd find in a jump menu) to run to a results page.

For example, we have a database that simply stores data for our monthly newsletter. When I run a query from the DA-generated search page, it delivers my results and the URL string looks like this:

issues_Results.php?S_pk_issue_id=&S_issue_month=&S_issue_year=2011&S_speaker_first_name=&S_speaker_last_name=&S_topic=&S_URL=&S_volume=&Search.x=41&Search.y=11&Search=Search

What I would like to do is hard-code the query string and apply it to a link or jump menu so that something like this delivers the results I'm looking for:

issues_Results.php?S_issue_year=2011

What do I need to do to get there?

the search behavior is triggered by the search querystring variables:
&Search.x=41&Search.y=11&Search=Search

you would need to include those in your link:
issues_Results.php?S_issue_year=2011&Search.x=41&Search.y=11&Search=Search
