Security assist fails to create database

Hi,
I am trying to create login for ecart checkout.
When I run the security assist create page, it creates login paage, logout page, and etc...,
but it says that it could not create the database.
I already set up the XAMPP php testing environment and it is defined in the dreamweaver, being able to the database table. XAMPP folder is set to be accessible and writable for everyone, but it seens that the security assist is unable to create the database.
Is there anything I am missing?
Thanks

a .sql script file will be created in the /webassist folder of your site, you can use that script to create the database table manually.

the .sql script file will have a name similar to:
security_assist_localhost_<preset name>.users.sql

where <preset name> is the name of the database preset you selected in the security assist wizard.

see the "How to import a MySQL (.SQL) file to your database" tutorial on the learning resources page for details:

the reason

thank you very much for your response.
I see I can create the database table manually,
I am wondering why the db creating error happens in the dreamweaver,
and will cause farther issues because of that?
Or I can just proceed without solving the problem?
I already set up the free webassist ecommerce db, which has user field.
Can I just use it for the login/out pages?
Thank you,

there are many different reasons why the table may not have been created, it could be a problem with the database connection or any number of other causes, this is why the script is also added to the webassist directory so it can be created manually, it should not cause other problems.

yes, the eCommerce database users table can be used in security assist if you like.

I have the same issue.

In a connect meeting with Dani at WebAssist support we determined that the Script does not run when a remote server is set up with a local server.

They will log this as an issue in the bug base to be addressed in future dot releases.

Rune
