PayPal Not Adding Postage Charges

PayPal Not Adding Postage Charges

Hello. Me again.

On website where I have an installation of PS3, everything is working fine now (thanks to Jason!), but....

When an order is placed, the transaction moves to paypal as it should, but then, no postage details are added in the order at the PayPal end - the client wants cost based postage as opposed to weight.

Can anything be done to ensure that cost based postage is applied rather than weight?

Many thanks,

Cost based shipping charges would have to be added using eCart and Dreamweaver.

We could help you with something like this in a premium support incident that you could purchase from the Support section of the webassist site.

It would involve using eCart to set up your shipping rules to calculate the shipping price based on the cost and then making sure that the shipping total is properly passed to paypal during the checkout process (most likely this would be automatic once the charge is set up).
