Anybody else experience horribly slow results with DataAssist..??

I work from remote test servers, but should that really cause DataAssist to slow down so badly? It takes a solid 5 min for the DataAssist wizard to load for me. I've always experienced this on various workstations and laptops throughout the years, and working from various web hosts as development servers.

Any tips for fast data connections using DataAssist or maybe in Dreamweaver in general?

Do you have a lot of connections set up in your site? Does your database have a lot of tables and columns? Does it take a long time to open up the standard dreamweaver recordset server behavior?

If you provide a bit more background I might be able to determine what the problem might be.

Data assist 2.0.8 seems slow on my local machine.

With a results page open in design mode, if I select an image field it usually takes about 20 seconds for the code to get highlighted. A non image field takes between 7 and 10 seconds to highlight the code.

I have created a support ticket so we can look into this issue further.

Strange when I opened Data Assist 2 today it worked fine.
No delays in high lighting code at all.

Nothing has changed on the machine, I have been absent for a couple of days, no one else uses this machine.

If it re occours I will let you know.
