PHP Warning in Powerstore 4.5 installation

I'm installing PS4.5 on a new server. When I get to the database info, it returns the following error:

PHP Warning: mysql_set_charset() expects parameter 2 to be resource, boolean given in D:\home\acalamedical.com\wwwroot\install\database.php on line 46

Ok...I verified all the info with the hosting company for the server/host name, and I'm still getting this error.

Any thoughts?

I was able to get through the PS4.5 installation. Got into the administration section too.

I am getting this error on the prepropagation page:
PHP Warning: mysql_free_result(): 21 is not a valid MySQL result resource in D:\home\acalamedical.com\wwwroot\webassist\plugins\main_menu\menu.php on line 142

Here is line 142:
<?php mysql_free_result($DigitalGoods); ?>

Thoughts?

Thanks

hmmm, looks like the command:
mysql_free_result($DigitalGoods);

is repeated once at line 112 and again at line 142, delete the one at line 112 of the webassist\plugins \main_menu\menu.php file

Jason,

I just found another post that had the same problem. I removed it from line 112 and it worked. Any idea why it is there twice?

Thanks!

Also, could you point me to any information as to how to import the original database from PS2 into PS4.5? Can it even be done? The PS4.5 is on a different server, too.

Thanks

using PHP My Admin, export the products table from the power store 23 database to an SQL file, then import it to the power store 4 database.

I would not transfer any of the other tables.

Jason,

I made the import successfully. But am I missing a step? None of the products are showing up in the store.

Thanks

When I try and edit a theme, I get the following:

PHP Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in D:\home\acalamedical.com\wwwroot\webassist\plugins\styler\filebrowse.php on line 15 PHP Warning: Illegal offset type in D:\home\acalamedical.com\wwwroot\webassist\plugins\styler\filebrowse.php on line 19 PHP Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in D:\home\acalamedical.com\wwwroot\webassist\plugins\styler\filebrowse.php on line 15 PHP Warning: Illegal offset type in D:\home\acalamedical.com\wwwroot\webassist\plugins\styler\filebrowse.php on line 19

Thoughts?
