Quick question about future versions...

Quick question about future versions...

Hi there - just a question about the next update to DataAssist.

I currently use DA to create search and results pages, plus details pages. But my workflow is still using ADDT to create my insert and update pages, mainly because it incorporates field validation in the process of doing that.

I have just been using the latest version of Security Assist, and it does incorporate field validation as part of the set up process for the registration and user update pages.

Are there plans to include this in the next version of DA, which may hopefully be in the pipework, as it still has the old style UI, compared to the newer style a few of your extensions are using?

Thanks.

Yes, Data Assist 3 should include field validation through the wizard.

Is this something that's in the pipeline Jason?

Yes, Data Assist development has just begun, I do not have a time frame for when it will be released though.

Thanks Jason - look forward to that update, as it'll definitely simplify my workflow when working on db projects.
