cache

"If you are finding that your map loads slower than expected, you may need to configure read/write privileges on the _promaps_cache directory. This directory stores the XML file that is created when you first view your map. All map locations will then be read from the XML file to display faster in a browser."

What configuration will work? I have more than 300+ pins on a map and entire states are not showing up. I have deleted what seem to be problem addresses - e.g. commercial buildings with a suite number - but it still does not load everything. Any suggestion would be most welcome.

there should be a _promaps_cache directory being created, give that directory read / write (755 should work) privileges

EDIT: In my original post, I though I might be having the same problem, but now I believe it is different. I will create a new post for it.

permissions changed

Ok, I've changed the permissions to 755 on the cache, but I still can't get all of CA pins to show and nothing from CO even though there are 6 addresses entered in CO.

I have deleted some zip codes to see if that makes a difference. What info on an address is absolutely required? Street number and name, and city, state? Do I need to put USA?
