CSS MenuWriter stopped displaying content correctly was ok

yesterday I was working on a site, using MenuWriter 2.01 to change the content of the menu. It was fine, added in my categories and sub menu items, linked to my pages, great no problem.

Used MenuWriter to alter the box sizes, all ok.

Today, it refuses to play ball and the content when in the wizard has defaulted back to original, menu.php is still showing my changes but wizard does not.

Any idea why?
Could it be because I worked on another site and used menuWriter?
I have not been saving presets as I went along.

The settings are stored in an xml file for editing. If you edited from another computer and didnt' upload and download the .xml file on this computer it won't know about your updates.

You can probably upload the .xml and download it to this computer to get the changes inspected properly.

Hi Ray,
I have only worked on the one machine.
I worked on the site with the problem, and then went to a second site to add a menu in using MenuWriter.

Where is this xml file located?
Is it for each site or the whole dreamweaver config?

For each menu.

Please describe exactly what you are doing and when this problem occurs. I want to see if I can reproduce it, so please carefully explain the steps again for me.

Ok,
I want to add so further items to the menu so I open my Main.dwt.php from inside the template folder.

I then click on the menu bar, just click on a button, and the Dreamweaver properties inspector changes to show the CSS MenuWriter Logo and three buttons.

I click on the 'Edit Contents' button and the MenuWriter inteface opens.

When this opens it displays the default menu items for the Powerstore, v1.02, and not the menu items that are contained in my menu.php file, located in CSSMenuWriter/cssmw_home/menu.php.

If I cancel this window and click on the 'Edit theme' all my design changes are there.

I last worked on the site yesterday. One file was worked on by a colleague, without any of the WebAssist extensions loaded, this morning, he just altered the checkout.php file to remove the forms just leaving the PayPal checkout on the page. I was when I went to add some menu items in on my machine this evening that I noticed this problem.

test site can be seen at www.mousework-shop.co.uk.

Cheers

Please open a support incident and include your phone number. Somebody will have to look into this with you. I can't imagine the cause.
