Captcha image not showing

Captcha image not showing on local server - Mac OS X. GD is enabled.

Error log:
Call to undefined function imagettfbbox() in WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_CaptchaSecurityImages.php on line 125

Any ideas?

this error means the GD and/ or True Type library are not enabled on the server.

if this is a remote server, contact the host to have them enable the GD library.

if it is a local testing server see the tutorial on the ;earning resources page for how to enable the gd library:

GD is enabled - see attached:

the imagettfbbox() function requires both DG and the Free Type library:

function.imagettfbbox.php

if you are getting that error message and the GD libary is enabled, it means that the Free type library is not.

Looks like it's the Freetype not being installed.
Thanks
