HTML editor and File Manager on same page conflict

Hi,

Using:
HTML Editor 3.0.2
DataAssist 2.0.8
Dreamweaver CS5
Windows 7 64bit

I have a DataAssist created insert page to which I have added a HTML Editor and File Manager instance. The File Manager is to add a thumbnail sized image and the HTML Editor is for the main content.

After some problems with getting the correct directories to show, I've had to edit the kfm/configuration.php file as other have, there is a conflict between the HTML Editor and the File manager.

If I add a thumbnail image using File Manager it show the correct tiny thumbnail next to the folder icon on the right. If I then add an image to the HTML Editor content image icon > browse server > select file > ok as soon as I click the OK button the tiny thumbnail image on the File Manager changes and no URL is placed in the URL text box on the Image Properties pop-up box. Clicking OK pops up an "Image source URL is missing" error box.

If I bring up a fresh Insert page and add an image to the HTML Editor first and then add the thumbnail, then it does work as expected. However both methods should and need to work as I have no way of knowing how a user will use it.

Please let me know what I need to do to fix this issue.

Thanks.

I was sent a replacement "filebrowse.js" file which seems to have fixed the problem.

I am having a similar problem. I have a file browser and 2 HTML Editors on this page. If I go straight to the editor, it is fine, but after I use the file browser and then the editor, I get no url in the link or image dialogue fields.

I think I had this patched file before, but I seem to have lost it. Can this become generally available. I would like to receive the fix in the meantime please.

Thanx

here is an updated copy of the /webassist/kfm/filebrowse.js file that should correct the issue.
