Conflict between Cookie Toolkit and ECart?

Hello

Are there any known conflict issues between using the Cookie Toolkit and ECart on the same website.

The website I'm having problems with is an e-commerce one I've designed for a client, it uses the Cookie Toolkit to log customer into their account and Ecart to control the whole shopping process.

It all works fine except for a small minority of customers who seem to be logged out of their account every-time they add a product to their shopping basket. This proves to be frustrating for them if they are adding lots of products to purchase and continuously having to log in every time to get them added to the basket.

I'm struggling to figure out the issue though as every machine (both Mac and PC) I test the site on it all works fine.

Any ideas hints would be grateful, as these customers despite being a minority are moaning to my client that the website is broken!

Many Thanks

No, there are no known conflicts between eCart and Cookies toolkit or with Security Assist which is probably how you have configured the login rather than cookies toolkit.

when you configured the login did you follow the "Applying Register/Login to your checkout" tutorial on the eCart support page:
ecart/

With security assist, the login is based on a session variable. if the session is not set, then the user is considered logged out.

IT is impossible to tell what may be going wrong with out being able to reproduce the problem.
