add another column to search query

On my search page, I have a last name field which searched the last_name column in a table. I want it to also search the spouse column in the same table. I just don't know where to put the OR statement.
Here is the comparison list from the results page
//comparison list additions
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("num","S_num","AND","=",1);
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("first_name","S_first_name","AND","Begins With",0);
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("last_name","S_last_name","AND","Begins With",0);
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("street_name","","AND","=",0);
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("city","S_city","AND","=",0);
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromList("state","S_state","AND","=",0);
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("zip","S_zip","AND","Begins With",0);

I tried adding another line
$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("spouse","S_last_name","OR","Begins With",0);
but that just gave me results with that name from all states.
Thanks.

Hi Aaron,

You shouldn't have to add anything manually. I believe you can just open the Search behaviour that is already applied by double clicking on it from in the Server behaviours panel and add the extra criteria there.
