Problem in IE 7

I setup a menu and it works fine in IE 8, Firefox, Safari however IE 7 there's a problem and I know quite a few people have not upgraded to 8 yet. In IE 7, the menu pops out however on the right side the menu isn't even and only goes as long as the text goes. You can view what I'm talking about at site - any ideas on how to correct this? Thanks for the help.

I see you are using:

ul#cssmw0 ul.level-1 > li > span > a {menu.css (line 74)
background-color:#333333;
background-image:url(../cssmw0_images/arrow.gif);
background-position:95% 50%;
background-repeat:no-repeat;
border-bottom:1px dotted #9EA3AA;
color:#FFFFFF;
display:block;
font-family:Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size:12px;
font-style:normal;
font-weight:bold;
height:20px;
line-height:20px;
margin:0;
padding:5px 10px 5px 5px;
text-decoration:none;
width:105%;

try using a pixel width like 205px; instead of a percent width.

Hello,
If I am understanding correctly, I am having the same problem with IE7 at www.deutschconnector.com
The main level vertical menu is offset about 50 px to the right and covers the main content. All widths are set in px.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for taking a look. Trouble seems to be with IE7. And earlier IE?

It is difficult to debug without having access to the files.

The issue seems to be between the div "sidebar" and the ul "level-0"

If you add text between those where does it appear? If it is off too, then it is likely that the problem is with your "sidebar" css or surrounding page, otherwise it may be something with the menu itself.

I see that you have "url(menu_ie.css)" as your background-image for a tags. That might have something to do with it.

it might something to do with the overall menu width for IE7... its hard to say

Thanks for the help.
I will check the things you mention.
What is the best way to get the files to you? Do you need the entire folder or just the menu.css file?

Thanks again

You can create a support incident and attach the files if necessary, but I would start by following my advice and trying to work through it on your own.
