To hide Windowtext

Hi, there is a way to hide the windowtext at the opening map page?

The easy way to do this is to check the Enable driving directions option, but dont enter a starting address.

I tried doing that and it did work for what was described; however, it breaks the Zoom Level workaround described here: pro_maps_set_zoom_level_ht.pdf.

Can you tell me how to not have a default destination displayed and also be able to set the zoom level? Thanks.

I think you can add a .setZoom() method call... do you have a url that I can view? That would let me see what you have so far and advise what to add where.

Sorry, I haven't yet set up my host and am working locally. Can I send you files?

You should be able to add:

map.setZoom(10); // adjust the number for the zoom level you want

If you have difficulty, post back once you have something live and I'll give specific line numbers.

map.setZoom(10) works until you enable fromAddress like below.

var fromAddress = {
enabled: true,

It is probably skipping the area of code where you have added the setZoom and you probably need to add it to another place in the code. It is probably in an IF statement now that doesn't get called based on that setting.
