The future of spry and therefore of FB

I wonder why there hasn't been any updates of the spry core 1.6 for more than a year from Adobe. It looks like spry is not being developped anymore.

Why did you use spry and what will be when spry is officially abandoned by Adobe?

Spry validation is the built in validation of Dreamweaver.

Form Builder builds on the Spry Validation ground work and adds Server Side PHP validation behind it.

I dont see any indication of Spry Dying, it is still being included with the recently released 5.5 version of Dreamweaver.

ADDT was also includes in DW CS4 ...

The fact that Spry is not being developed anymore (last update is more that a year old and also the promised 1.7 update has not arrived yet) is a quite significant indicator that it's on the track of being abandonned in the near future. Or have you got an answer from Adobe that the product is still under development?

I cant say what is in the future for Spry.

the fact is, Form Builder is designed to work with the current versions of Dreamweaver, Should Spry not be included with Dreamweaver 6, we will evaluate how to proceed with future versions of form builder.
