Wow. I'm not so thrilled now.
Requires: Dreamweaver CS5, Dreamweaver CS4

Have you totally discontinued support for CS3?

Ok. I know that this was going to be a possibility at some point... There was no warning about stopping support on CS3. My $10 upgrade is going to cost me approx $700.00 to upgrade my trusty CS3 Web Standard to CS5 Web Premium.

Not that I shouldn't do that, but I had no warning, and Dreamweaver CS3 works great with everything up until today.

Is there any possibility that the Bing Search v1 can be supported by CS3 ??? And then set a date like July 1st, 2011 for CS3 support to cease?

Our company policy has always been to support the current version and one version back.

It just takes us a long time to repeat all of our QA on multiple platforms and give our seal of approval. With Adobe adding 5.5 to the mix it has already greatly increased our QA effort so that supporting the current version and one version back now means testing on CS5.5, CS5, and CS4.

I can probably get a build made that I can send you that will install on CS3, but I can't promise that it will work (although I suppose it would) and if you do run into any CS3 related issues we won't be able to solve them since it won't be officially supported.

I opened a support ticket to give you a location where you can download a version that will install on CS3. I'll update the ticket once it is ready. Just a forewarning that any extensions moving forward will not be officially supported on CS3.

I have to smile Ray. I am getting the same floater problem that someone else has posted a thread on. So I can't say it works on CS4 yet.

Just a CS3 update.

1. Cleared WinCache.
2. Started with a blank PHP file.
3. Created and Applied new API to Create A Bing Search Page tool
4. Completed the form entries and clicked OK.
( Search Page and Results Page = bing_search.php )

I got the following error...

I realize I have limited to no support as CS3 is not supported. I just wanted to provide this update.

See if you still get the error when you have a different search and results page.

I'll show this error to one of the developers that worked on that project to see if there is an easy fix.
