Moving to remote server

OK, I've got it working (enough) on my local testing server and I'm now ready to set up on the remote server. The Getting Started Guide kind of just stops when you've got it running locally, so is there a Guide for moving it to the real world?

In the absence of any instructions (well, anything I could find), I have done the following:
1. Created a new connection file in /Connections/ with my remote database details
2. Changed the <?php require_once('../Connections/ code at the top of relevant files to connect to this new file
3. Imported my database from my local server to the remote one
4. Uploaded all files to the remote server.

Anything I've missed? I'm getting an access denied error for the database when I try to open any of the admin files, but I've got a query in with my hosting helpdesk for that.

steps 1 and 2 are not correct.

do not create a new connection file and change the code.

instead, edit the existing connection that security assist was configured with, and change the details in the connection for the remote database server. To do this, go to Window -> Databases, then double click the connection.

Once the updated connection has been uploaded to the server, and you have tested to make sure the connection is working, follow these steps:

1) in the Dreamweaver files panel, Change the Local View drop Down List to Remote View.

2) Open the connections folder and right click on the connection file, select Set Permissions

3) Uncheck the write permission for all three users to make the connection file read only.

Now in the Dreamweaver file panel, go back to local view.

Edit the connection again in the database panel to set it back to using the local credentials.

Since the connection on the remote server is now set to read only, Dreamweaver will fail if it try's to overwrite the remote connection with the local one.

OK, thanks. But just an idea - a Solution Recipe for this rather than just a forum post?
