Strange issue with SSL

Hi Guys,

My hosting is with Heart Internet and I have a shared SSL Certificate.

My hosting company has mapped the URL:-

cyntrax.co.uk/ to www.cyntrax.co.uk.

What my issue is that when you click on checkout it redirects to checkout.php and instead of getting the check out page i get 403 forbidden error page.

Can anyone shed some light on this.

Kind regards

Jonathon

the ssl certificate is registered for the domain:
secure-secure.co.uk/

when you access it using the address:
checkout.php

it returns a message saying that the certificate is not registered for this domain, the certificate will need to be registered for the cyntrax.co.uk domain in order for it to work.

Hi Jason,

That is where the shared ssl cert is.

Ok in the mean time, is there a way to bypass this so that i can test the site in a live envoirment since the site will be hosted on trinitia.co.uk once i have finished testing it and i will buy a cert for that domain. when ready to launch. I only ask as trinitia.co.uk is a live site right now.

kind regards

Jonathon

do not redirect the secure-secure.co.uk/ address to the cyntrax.co.uk/ domain.

do all of your testing using the secure-secure.co.uk/ address without redirection.

the problem is caused by having the certificate registered for a different domain than the address in the address bar.
