Limited number of characters ??

I have a complex calculation which is used to determine discounts, with a large number of parameters.

Is there a restriction to the number of characters which can be added to a calculation via the ecart object interface.
After checking and rechecking my syntax, I kept on getting errors.

When I checked my cart_PHP.php page, my calculation was truncated after around 30,000 characters.
When I hand coded the calculation, it worked fine.

If there is a restriction, is there any way I can change it ?

If it is truncating the calculation, this is a bug in eCart. I will log it in our bugbase so our engineers can correct the issue in the next update,
