Can't successfully update email template

I send a weekly activity to subscribers. I use a template html to do so. When I update the template html file, it fails to appear in the UE server behavior on my trigger page html. When I put this file to my site or when I test it on my local server, it reverts to the previous content or it fails altogether.

I update the source and link info in the template DW file. I can successfully test the template and its links on my localhost, but when I test the trigger page and its UE behavior I get the results above.

More learning is coming I'm sure.

I have created a support ticket so we can look into this issue further.

For those of you viewing this thread, my problem was with the DW ../../ shorthand and the fact that UE needs precise source location (i.e., www.....). I kinda figured it out, but Jason's explanation made it clear. UE acts just like an email client. It can't interpret ../.
So when I was revising my template in DW, I had to manually enter the full directory address in place of the automatic ../.

Simple to do, but the key to my issue.
