Formatting advice please

I would like some advice on how I can ensure the formatting of the text and variables used in the editor are displayed as expected (or as close as the recipients email client allows.)

Currently, everything is appearing as a single block of text.

Thank you, Paul.

the easiest way to format the message is to select the option to create a file for the email message,m then design the message layout in the template file that is created.

I'm having a similar problem. I chose the file option (Block) and edited the inline style tags with different fonts, font sizes, etc. than what comes in the template. Saved the files, uploaded everything, and when I get the email, it has reverted to the default Times New Roman and text so tiny it is hardly readable. My image didn't come through either. Any ideas how to fix this?--Gail

By the way, I forgot to mention that I have viewed test messages in Outlook and Eudora on the PC, and Mail on the iPad, and all give the same results: fonts and font sizes are reverting to the template defaults. Any help would be appreciated.

send a copy of the page you have applied universal email to, and the webassist/email folder so that I can examine the code.

Online they are at:
email_membership.php
Block_4.php

I did figure out (from looking at other postings) that I needed the full URL for the image to show up, so that part has been fixed.

Thanks for your help,

Gail

i need for you to compress the files into a zip file and attach the zip archive so I can see the raw code, seeing them in the browser does not help me troubleshoot the issue.

also, it would help to know which specific elements you are editing to help ,e narrow down what to look for.

OK, sorry about that. See attached.

I'm editing the content of Block_4.php, and specifically the properties of Heading 1 and Paragraph as your inline styles.
