Tried everything to fix the javascript/hanging problems

Tried everything to fix the javascript/hanging problems

DreamWeaver CS5/Windows
Local Site, local server on my C: drive.

I'm getting two problems - one, the extension is hanging when I try to access it in DreamWeaver. I get an error message saying that a javascript is taking a long time to load.

Sometimes, I get as far as the validator menu, but when trying to do the validation, I get the onMouseUP javascript error in wajz_validator.htm issue.

I've tried rebuilding the site, deleting the site cache manually and deleting the DreamWeaver WinFileCache file. Nothing works.

In your site definition make sure that a testing server is set up on the servers section.

If only a remote server is set, you will need to set the remote server to be both the testing server and the remote server.

Yes, a testing server is set

I have set up a testing server. And it's local, on my C: drive

In the case of the OP, the problem was caused by using .JSP as the page type for the site.

What is the page type for pages in your site?
