HTML Markup being Added

I use HTML Editor on a custom CMS system, and clients edit there page content through HTML Editor. The data is stored in a database.

I have just noticed that HTML editor is putting in the HTML markup automatically.

Example:
<html>
<head>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
Content User Enters will go here.
</body>
</html>

In WSYWIG view the user does not see this, but it becomes visible when viewing in code view. If I remove it and save, it just re-appears as soon as I open HTML Editor again.

This causes a problem on the end result as I don't use HTML Editor to create an entire page, just the content. The page the content is inserted to already has all this markup in the correct spots, so this duplicates those tags, and the pages don't pass validation.

Am a missing a basic settings somewhere that stops this from happening? I really don't wan't the editor adding all these extra tags.

This is occurring because you have set HTML Editor to use Full Page Editing.

Edit the HTML Editor instance, Click the Pencil Icon next to the Editor Preset, On the general tab, uncheck the Full Page Editing option.

I knew it had to be something silly.
Thanks Jason.
