PS3 Transactions not reaching Authorize.net

We have had a few calls lately that customers are having issues when processing an order. It keeps telling them that the cc info they are entering is incorrect. Only a few people. I've check with authorize.net, and they said the transaction isn't reaching them.

But when the customer gives us the information over the phone, and we process it through auth.net, it goes through without any problems (or, without having to put in the cvv2. It seems that when you process a credit card on auth.net, you don't need to enter the cvv2).

When I try and process an order, either from behind my firewall or from home, it goes through without a hitch.

We have also received web orders from other customers, without any problems.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Are they getting the CC Info is incorrect message on the checkout failure page?

the only way for the checkout failure page to load is if the transaction goes through to the gateway and gateway fails the transaction.

Where it is only happening for some people, I would guess that it has to do with the way they are entering the credit card info.

they could be entering the credit card number using dashes:
4111-1111-1111-1111

or could be entering the expiration year incorrectly as a 2 digit year:
12

instead of
2012
