not working for me and other issues

just tried to do a mail to myself and never received it....it said it was sent though
I'm using hostmonster so i put mail.mysite.com as email server

also the tooltips do not show in ie8 on the settings page
using chrome, the Use Additional Email Parameters tooltip box is empty

what does that Use Additional Email Parameters checkbox do anyway? tried it both ways
I assumed I would get some more text fields to enter data but nothing happens

also looked around in mysql...why is admin password not hashed?

hmm well after messing around with the image uploader part, it all seems to be workng now..i think lol

2 things I need help with now
when someone unssubscribes, I want it to just unsubscribe...not force them to log in and then unsubscribe. personally I can't stand that when I have to log in to unsubscribe so I want that gone....and on the "try web version" on the newsletter, I want the login requirement removed from that as well...it's just a newsletter so i dont want to force login

how can i remove those requirements?

oh and for anyone using hostmonster, I used mail.mysite.com for the server field and left that Use Additional Email Parameters checkbox unchecked.

well I spoke too soon...
created a new mailing and tried the send preview
sentthis.jpg is what i created
it sent the wrong layout altogether...no pictures would show...no dynamic data would show..straight from template only changed a few words
this is what i got for my preview
gotthis.jpg
but when i saved it and sent a mailing this is what i got from a normal send
somesuccess.jpg
correct layout...but notice up top, it still isn't picking up tokens

i tried again to create a new mailing and saved it first before trying send preview but it sent me to the create audience page..so i couldnt send a preview

I have been messing with this thing all weekend with very poor results.

just found one more issue...the one that actually sent the correct layout but bad token...I just clicked on the "view in browser" link on that one and guess what....page not found error.
I will put up with little bugs here and there in the beginning stages of any new product...but this is getting ridiculous

Hi Gruant,
Did you get an answer from Webassist with these 2 issues. I am about to loose my client altogether because of these. It is a shame we cannot try the program before we purchase so we can see these little cliches. Thank you in advance if you can share the solution.

in another thread, a couple users have posted the solution they used to remove the login requirement , see message 7 in this thread:
