Powerstore integration

Hi Guys,

What would be the best way to integrate PowerMessenger with PowerStore?

Kind regards

Jonathon

you would nee to use a MySQL GUI Tool such as PHPMyAdmin or Sequel Pro to export the powerstore 4 users table and import it to the Power Messenger users table.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your reply but i dont understand from your post how this will integrate powerstore with powermessenger.

The end result that I would like to achive is have powermessenger fully integrated with powerstore.

Please can you advise on this with a brief bullet points of the series of steps required to achive this.

Kind regards

Jonathon

at this time fully integrating the 2 is not possible.

They can be installed side by side on the same server, but they will not be integrated.

you would need to export the power store users table and import it to the power messenger user table to send emails to the power store 4 users.

Same database for both powerstore and powermessenger

Can I use the same database info for both Powerstore 4.5 and powermessenger? By the same, I mean same username and same database name on the same server. OR should I create a different database for powermessenger?

Thanks

yes, the same database can be used to install Power Store and Power Messenger.

each solution uses a unique prefix for all of the table name.

tables for Power Store 4 will be named using "ps4_" as the prefix. Power Messenger tables will be named using "pm1_" as the table name prefix.
